Business Analyst Intermediate/Senior

We invite a proactive Business Analyst to join our team of ~20 professionals who have been working on creating next big thing in the restaurant technology industry.

Our client is a product company and a major player in the point of sale domain. It serves more than 100,000 food service sites in the USA and actively penetrates the European market.

Responsibilities

• Become the main point of communication with product stakeholders in terms of requirements and product functionality
• Elicit, analyze and convert business problems into feature requirements; present requirements to the team
• Assist stakeholders in priorities management for the features; engage changes requested for product
• Maintain requirement traceability
• Support existing integrations between internal sub-projects and components
• Support existing integrations with third-party software
• Deliver a presentation on the implemented solution to the product management
• Visualize workflows of the developed solution by means of Use Case and Activity diagrams (UML) or Process and Collaboration models (BPMN)

Requirements

Technical skills we expect you to have

• Advanced English skills (both written and spoken)
• 3+ years’ work experience as a BA/Product Manager
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Ability to classify and arrange data in the most convenient way
• Ability to explain complex concepts in simple words
• Good theoretical and practical knowledge of BA methodology and tools (functional/non-functional requirements, use cases, user stories, traceability)
• Experience with bug tracking, collaboration and modeling tools

Knowledge of and experience with

• Client-server architecture
• Desktop applications
• Technical API documentation (e.g. Swagger)
• Web application interactions (request-response, flat file communication)
• Debug tools/API testing tools
• Modeling tools (LucidChart, DrawIO etc.)
• Understanding of DB principles (relational and NON-relational)

Technical nice-to-haves

• Technical background
• Expertise in the restaurant or retail area (or the goal to become an expert in one)
• Familiarity with how POS systems operate
• Knowledge of modeling notations (UML, BPMN)
• API testing experience might be an equivalent
