We believe that every student can excel in mathematics. Technology could and should be used in smarter ways to change the way we think about teaching and learning math.
We’ve dedicated 10 years to building adaptive learning technology that can truly personalise how a student learns.
The students of tomorrow should not need to sit standardised tests at the end of the school year to show teachers what they’ve learnt. Technology can continuously assess and measure growth throughout the year. The students of tomorrow should not tell themselves they’re not ‘math people’ because they don't understand. They should get real-time support that matches their own needs, based on where they’re at.

COVID radically changed education worldwide. Education systems are now looking at edtech in a new light. We see this as our time to make a big impact. So we’ve adopted a freemium model, making a highly compelling free version of Mathspace that we believe every student and teacher should be using.
Once they are in, our product team will be looking at analytics and optimizing the funnel from free users to paid users. We have a highly skilled product and engineering team to optimize this funnel but our biggest challenge is to get students and teachers into the top of the funnel - which is where you come in.
We’re looking for a digital marketing expert to own our digital acquisition strategy and its execution.
How will math teachers discover us online? What about administrators and parents? What kind of copy works and what doesn't? Is paid advertising going to be effective? What experiments should we be running?
To date, our most effective channels have been outbound marketing. We've utilized email extensively as well as phone calls. But they are becoming less effective each year which has led to this strategy shift to a freemium model looking to drastically increase the number of inbound leads. We’ve started setting up a content marketing strategy and have dabbled in building our social media presence organically. We’ve run some paid LinkedIn acquisition tests and scratched the surface on paid advertising. But we have a lot to learn and are looking for an expert in digital marketing to take things to the next level.
