Join us as our newest addition to the People & Culture Team, where we are instrumental in supporting the growth goals of the company. You will be part of a highly collaborative and supportive team with opportunities for advancement. The Human Resources Specialist is responsible for the administrative support of day-to-day human resources operations..

  • HRIS: maintain employee records and filling out employment verifications
  • Customer Service: managing the daily intake of questions into the shared email system while providing
  • Payroll processing: work with SuitePeople by Netsuite and our hourly timekeeping system to process payroll bi-weekly, including HSA and 401k administration
  • Benefits Administration: maintaining contact with our insurance broker on employee enrollments, changes, separations, and special benefit programs for the company
  • Recruiting: assisting with applicant reviews, phone screenings, moving candidates through the process, and processing background checks and offers
  • Onboarding: setting new employees up in all of our systems and ensuring a successful start to their time with us
  • Compliance: assisting with internal and external audits, such as Workers Comp, ACA, 401k annual compliance testing, personnel records


When will I work?

This is a full-time remote position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

How am I paid?
$35,000-$40,000 with Unlimited PTO

Requirements

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or HR certification such as PHR
  • At least 2-3 years of relevant HR experience, including processing payroll
  • Prior experience with an HRIS required; SuitePeople with Netsuite, preferred
  • Must have prior experience with setting up state and local payroll tax accounts
