Intermediate CMS Developer

We invite a CMS Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of the educational product that has over 3 million visitors per month.

DomainOptions is a network of websites related to English grammar, online spellcheck and grammar check services, dictionaries of definitions, synonyms, antonyms, etc. We also have projects in other niches, from business aviation industry to certain internal projects for company needs.

We are a small but agile team, focused on expanding our network, increasing our traffic and improving the user experience of our visitors.

Qualifications and experience:

• 2 years of commercial experience
• Strong knowledge and practical experience with WordPress
• Understanding of Git and GitFlow
• Good knowledge of PHP and experience with PHP7
• Good front-end development skills (HTML5/CSS3, (CSS frameworks: Bootstrap, Foundation), JavaScript, jQuery, Vue.js)

Nice to have:

• Experience with other CMS (Drupal, Magento, Joomla etc.)
• Experience in MySQL
• Knowledge of the most popular WordPress plugins and practices (cache, security, e-commerce, etc.)
• Solid experience with popular web servers configurations (Apache, nginx)
• Good knowledge of Docker and Linux ecosystem
• Knowledge of Amazon Web Services

Key responsibilities:

As a CMS developer, you will be responsible for maintaining the current WordPress websites we have, plus developing new websites. Your mission is to provide custom solutions to satisfy client’s business needs.

You will own the whole process from the beginning to the end, providing estimates, researching and suggesting solutions, and developing websites according to your own estimates.
