Intermediate Software Engineer (React, Node.js)

We invite a Software Engineer to join our team and participate in developing a secure digital asset platform for trading Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, and other digital currencies. You will be responsible for supporting and evolving a set of microservices for a mission-critical product that serves thousands of users every day. What’s in it for you:

Qualifications and experience:

• 4+ years of experience in software development
• 2+ years of hands-on experience of building/support systems written on React, Node.js
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform, logging/monitoring
• Practical experience of delivering applications to Production and further support
• Ability to quickly diagnose, pinpoint and solve an issues on production environment
• Strong understanding of code best practice (Code Complete, SICP)
• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 (Flexbox, Grids, JSS)
• Clear understanding of base patterns FP (function composition), OOP (OOD), and SOLID
• An understanding of Redux/Flux patterns and SPA’s state control management
• Experience with RESTful API, GraphQL (Apollo), CI/CD, Git
• Experience with Scrum/Kanban Agile frameworks
• Intermediate+ English, both spoken and written

Nice to have:

• Fluent JIRA/Confluence/GitHub user
• A love of code review

Key responsibilities:

• Maintaining, supporting and evolving Production system
• Automating business processes acting as a Full Stack engineer (React, Node.js, Express, Postgres, MariaDB, ORM)
• Collaboration with Product Managers, engineers and DevOps teams ensuring system reliability, sustainability
• Work in an agile environment with iterative development and fast feedback
• Integration with the existing APIs (GraphQL, REST)
• Add to the never-ending number of tests
