Learning Experience Designer, Platform

The Learning Experience Designer for the Intellum Platform (LXD) is an integral part of Intellum’s Education team who drives the technical education and on-going training for Intellum clients and employees. Reporting to the Director of Intellum Education, the LXD works closely with stakeholders across customer success, support, marketing, and product teams to develop, deliver, and evaluate effective learning experiences aimed to onboard and empower Intellum users. The LXD is responsible for identifying learner personas, designing, developing, and implementing multi-modal learning experiences that can scale, and managing platform certifications. The ideal candidate must be adept at all aspects of instructional design and have a passion for creating engaging and impactful learning experiences on technical topics.

Responsibilities

• Builds a comprehensive curriculum covering Intellum platform strategy that is tailored to unique learner personas
• Effectively collaborates with key business stakeholders to understand training needs and objectives
• Applies adult learning principles and systematic instructional design to create objective-oriented learning experiences
• Designs visually impactful and engaging learning experiences that drive product utilization, decrease support queries, and increase customer loyalty

• Continually develops and makes improvements to learning through feedback-gathering, cross-team collaboration, and experimentation
• Performs regular needs analysis to identify gaps, trends, and new opportunities, and provides solutions to address such

• Stays abreast of developments, trends, and tools in the areas of learning and instructional design by using the full Boost Budget and attending conferences
• Executes multiple projects within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
• 4+ years’ experience in LXD or instructional design, preferably in technical topics
• 2+ years’ experience in LMS or LXP administration
• Technically proficient in e-Learning authoring and and web conferencing tools
• Ability to facilitate platform training for a variety of audiences
• Aptitude for contextualizing platform training in a way that outcome-driven and leverages storytelling
• Ability to organize and manage multiple projects, activities, and to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong technical and conversational writing skills with experience in writing content for different training methods, mediums, and for varied audiences
• Highly curious team player with a growth mindset
• Proficient in editing for grammar, spelling, punctuation and other mechanics of style
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organization, planning, judgment, and time management skills

Physical Requirements/Work Environment:

• Occasional irregular work hours
• Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, etc.
• Extended time viewing a computer monitor
• Sitting or standing for extended periods of time
