Requirements

About the role

As a result of our incredible success and growth, we are looking for a Software Engineer to join us. Responsibilities include:

• Development using back end tools of B2B SaaS product and Student Beans website
• Innovating current product and scaling it
• New features e.g. personalisation, localisation
• Operating in an Agile environment
• Opportunity to work remotely

As a Software Engineer, you will be working with a group of highly talented and passionate people to not only develop, but shape the architecture and future of a unique platform that allows brands and local businesses to connect to their student customers.

This is an incredible opportunity for you to cross-train and use the most-cutting edge technology to internationalise our product that is engaging millions of students with the most famous brands on the planet every day.

About You

We’d really like to hear from you, if you have…

• Experience any back-end programming language: Ruby on Rails, would consider: PHP, Python or Java.
• An analytical mind - a passion for solving problems and being constantly curious!
• The ability to work autonomously, as well as collaborate within a team on project-based work.
• Bright ideas that you want to be listened to and a desire to really make your mark!
• Good communication skills.
• Experience with TDD and/or BDD.
• Experience with MySQL or other relational DBs.
