What We’re Looking For

We are looking for an eager, data-informed, senior product marketer to establish a product marketing practice from scratch within our established organization. You will revisit and reshape the pricing, packaging, and positioning of our existing suite of products while also leading go-to-market efforts for new product launches. To that end, you will help formalize our understanding of our market, our buyers, and our products, and define how we differentiate. You will collaborate closely with product, marketing, sales, and customer success to drive our products and our company forward. Operating as a player coach, you will lead our marketing designer in the effective execution of sales and marketing collateral, while also making the case for additional resources that you need to execute effectively.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Owning go-to-market strategy and execution across product rollouts, deftly synthesizing inputs and capabilities from product, marketing, sales, customer success, and other stakeholders to produce effective plans.
  • Developing product pricing, packaging, and positioning to differentiate BuildingLink’s products and services in the market -- both redesigning how we currently price, package, and position our existing product suite and also owning the same for all new products we release.
  • Being the expert on BuildingLink’s target market and customers, how they buy, and their decision criteria; being the expert on our competitors in the market and how to sell against them.
  • Taking a player coach role to lead our marketing designer in translating go-to-market plans into sales support and enablement materials, including website content, sales decks, datasheets, and competitive cheat sheets.
  • Identifying and making the case for onboarding additional resources to help our burgeoning product marketing group executive effectively.
  • Leading Sales training to optimize for Sales’ confidence in their ability to sell and to standardize how our products are portrayed in the field.
  • Collaborating closely with both internal and external stakeholders, speaking directly to customers and prospects to understand their needs and how BuildingLink meets them.


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing at a B2B or B2B2C SaaS company.
  • Strong background in pricing, packaging, positioning, and go to market.
  • Comprehensive understanding of a fully developed, customer-centric marketing ecosystem and tech stack.
  • Analytical approach with a working sense of Salesforce and Google Analytics, and using these platforms to report on critical metrics to track performance and identify trends.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, time management, organizational, and presentation skills.
  • Highly motivated and results-driven self-starter, operating with a sense of urgency and bias to action.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high quality results, balancing between long-term strategies and short-term tasks.
  • Growth mindset and innate curiosity.
  • Experience leading, coaching, or mentoring others.


Nice-to-have Experience

  • Experience orchestrating the execution of marketing campaigns, including the set-up of marketing analytics, digital ads, and email campaigns is a major plus.
