Software Engineer (with Angular, Node.js) Intermed

We’re looking for a Software Engineer who is ready to apply expertise and help us scale to become an enterprise-level organization, creating a data ecosystem for financial instruments.

Responsibilities

• Develop new product features and support existing ones

• Reach and maintain a deep understanding of our business domain, participate in requirement grooming and planning sessions

• Evaluate technical solutions, identify and inform about technical risks

• Perform work decomposition and estimation together with the team

• Follow the project SDLC and suggest improvements where applicable, help teammates reach Sprint goals

• Document the technical solutions suggested and contribute to the maintenance of CI/CD practices

• Mentor less experienced colleagues

Requirements

Technical skills we expect you to have

• We welcome candidates who has 2-3+ years of experience with:

• Backend: Node.js (TypeScript), Express.js, Nest.js, TypeORM

• Database: PostgreSQL or other SQL solution

• Frontend development: TypeScript, Angular 2+

• Unit tests: Jest

• Infrastructure experience: Docker, TeamCity

• AWS services: Cognito, S3, SES

• Experience with DDD, CQRS and Event Sourcing

Technical nice-to-haves

• Financial Information eXchange (FIX) protocol
• Knowledge of security standards and experience in passing certifications

• Experience with blockchain integrations and/or others 3rd party APIs
