Software Engineer (with React.js, PHP) Senior

We are searching for a skilled software developer with experience in React and PHP who will become a part of our enterprise-level project, influencing the development of data-driven tools for Quick Service Restaurants. Our client is a major player in the Point of Sale domain in the US market whose product involves 100,000 onsite installations. The product you will work on is a messaging platform that enables our clients to engage with customer contacts (creating, storing, and updating) to analyze customer behavior in order to build further marketing plans in the sector of fast food chains. The platform has an engine that sends out marketing campaigns, reaching an average audience of 3 to 16 million per day.

Responsibilities

As a software developer, you will be in charge of

• Making technical decisions and ensuring they are implemented
• Planning, designing, implementing ideas and supporting infrastructure
• Evaluating technical solutions, identifying risks, and performing estimation together with the team
• Communicating with the client's team and business representatives
• Working closely with the team of developers, quality assurance engineers, and business analysts

Requirements

Technical skills we expect you to have

• At least 5 years’ experience in JavaScript development
• 1+ years of experience in React.js/Redux
• 1+ years of PHP, Laravel experience
• Experience with SQL and Mongo DataBases
• Proficiency in TypeScript
• Experience with unit testing (e.g. Jest)

It’s important that you have at least intermediate English, as this position involves daily communication with foreign clients

Technical nice-to-haves

• Redux-Saga, Storybook, Styled Components, Enzyme
• Knowledge of NodeJS or other back-end technologies
• Angular
• Docker, AWS, Jenkins
• Knowledge of Microservice architecture or Service-oriented architecture
