The role

We are growing rapidly here at MarketFinance, so far we have grown at >100% year on year and we’re always looking for ways to improve that! Even with our amazing growth, we have recently had our fifth straight month of profitability! As a result, our Talent Acquisition team continues to grow as well, and we are now looking for a Talent Acquisition Lead who shares our core values and is ready to help us double the size of our Data and Engineering teams.

To be the best in this role, you’ll need to use your well-developed skills to create amazing job ads, research and network with passive candidates, project future hiring needs, interview candidates, and ultimately negotiate to hire the very best. Our teams are now fully remote, as such, we recruit across the UK and overseas. While we have started recruiting overseas, we still have much to learn and so we’re looking for someone who can build upon our knowledge and help us create a sustainable, international, multi-channel sourcing strategy.

As the lead recruiter for our Data and Engineering teams, you will work closely with and have the full support of the wider TA team, but you will have the autonomy to create robust sourcing strategies that will attract the best and brightest to our Data and Engineering teams.


Our Tech Stack is C#, .Net Core, React, Microsoft Azure - any experience in hiring for these skills would be advantageous.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience building and growing strong technical teams
  • Experience defining, building and improving global channel strategies to ensure we’re always recruiting the very best
  • Experience seeking and building new overseas sourcing options to deliver high calibre candidates
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to fully engage with candidates in our new remote-first world
  • Able to use recruiting tools (e.g. LinkedIn talent analytics and Workable) proficiently to build market intelligence and demographics
  • Strong knowledge of boolean, x-ray searches and additional sourcing software/tools
  • Excellent knowledge of recruitment analytics, with an ability to create, measure, and scale the workflows between candidates, hiring managers, and the recruiting team
  • Ability to execute recruiting strategy, including employer promotion in the marketplace, candidate management, diversity sourcing, and interview process management.
